This
work is based on the recommended Star
Trek Star Charts written by Geoffrey Mandel, with the
help of Doug Drexler, Tim Earls, Larry Nemecek and Christian
Rühl.
The
book is a guide to the known Star Trek-universe, featuring
detailed maps and background information on the classification
for stars and planets.
Although not always correct and/or doubtful, this work is
simply amazing, extremely detailed and very informative.
You can spend hours viewing the maps and searching for the
systems/places of your choosing.
If
you like my website I clearly recommend this book, as it
is the very basis of my maps.
Feel free to locate the differences between the original,
licensed (non-canon) and my version of the Star Trek Universe.
Some of them are easy to spot, others aren't. I'm sure you
will be able to find some of them. I applied more
than 100 changes on the maps for consistence and
also added several places as they were simply missing, by
watching all the episodes again and updating the maps accordingly.
